John Lund provides consultation and research services to broadcast stations, corporate management and media related firms as President of The Lund Consultants, Inc. and Lund Media Research. John is skilled at problem identification, establishing and achieving goals, and guiding and motivating operational personnel to execute management vision and strategic plans.

 

He’s a high energy, inspiring speaker and effective communicator experienced in strategic programming; he’s a frequent speaker at national and international broadcast conventions and is often interviewed in other media as a spokesperson for the industry. Previously, John directed programming for Metromedia stations in Los Angeles and New York, Nationwide Communications in Cleveland, Doubleday in Denver, and NBC Radio in New York.

June H. Lund is Executive Vice President of Lund Media Research and The Lund Consultants to Broadcast Management, Inc. She and John Lund are partners and founders of both companies.  June’s broadcast background includes sales management and marketing positions in TV, radio, and the John Blair national rep firm.

Kent S. Collins, a Lund Associate Consultant, is Associate Professor and Faculty Chairman of Radio-Television Journalism, the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.  Lund television clients can now benefit from Kent’s assistance to Lund Media Research, a full service research division of The Lund Consultants. Kent assists with television focus groups, audience research, news and entertainment research, television news consulting, assessment of social media use in production of television programming, and development of cross-platform models for television, digital media, and radio. In addition, Kent can assist television clients with hiring and training news anchors and other key personnel.
